It's a mild, breezy start to your Saturday, but a cold front slides into Utah & all of that changes. This afternoon, we're expecting showers and thunderstorms in the valley and snow in our mountains. Rain & snow will be heavy at times. That cold front passes, and it opens the door to really cold air. That means rain will change over to snow late tonight down to 4,500 ft.
There will be snow showers Sunday with snow falling along the Wasatch Front, but not much will accumulate there. There will be roughly up to 3 inches in the valleys, 10 to 20 inches in Southern mountains and 8 to 16 inches in our Northern mountains. Get ready for a cold start to your new work week!
