SALT LAKE CITY — A dry cold front will move across the state today, bringing windy conditions and cooler temps across northern Utah.
Temperatures in the northern part of Utah will drop several degrees lower than yesterday, but still close to average for this time of year.
Strong wind gusts are expected with the front later today across southwest Wyoming and northeast Utah,
The gusty winds with dry conditions will lead to high fire danger across San Rafael Swell and Southern Mountains.
While the winds will decrease tonight, the temperatures will be even colder tomorrow.
It will stay dry through the weekend with temperatures gradually climbing near normal by Saturday.
But it won't stay that way long as it will be cooling off again early next week.
