Storm to dump a lot of snow on Utah's mountains

Posted
and last updated

A storm will bring widespread precipitation across Northern & Central Utah tonight & tomorrow. The heaviest snow will be across the north with 12-20 inches possible in the mountains. Strong wind gusts could cause blowing and drifting snow, and make travel even more difficult over the higher passes. It's a fast moving storm, so most snow should taper off quite a bit by Saturday afternoon. Lighter rain and snow showers will continue across the north through Sunday.
