SALT LAKE CITY — Mother Nature might take care of the watering later today!

Monsoonal moisture has become widespread across Utah. With that setting the stage, a weak weather system crossing the area later today and tomorrow will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Some of the storms across Western Utah could bring strong winds, while the best chance of heavy rain will be out of storms in the east.

With dry air moving in tomorrow, any lingering thunderstorms will become increasingly confined to the mountains this weekend, mainly in the east.
