Storms becoming less likely; Heatwave continues

SALT LAKE CITY — Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible again today. The best chance of heavy rain is across Central Utah. Across the north, gusty winds are the most likely impact of any storms that might pop up.

A drying trend is expected from mid to late week, with most storms by then becoming confined to the mountains.

The storms might die down, but the hot weather will stick around!
Temperatures will be above average through the rest of the week. So, heatwave isn't over yet!
