After a mild weekend, we're gearing up for some wet & windy weather!

Winds will increase today ahead of a storm that will move across the area tonight & tomorrow. The strongest winds will be over the Northern Mountains and across NE Utah and SW Wyoming. Gusts could make travel difficult with blowing dust & snow a possibility.

Snow showers will begin in the Northern Mountains this afternoon and could become heavy later tonight into Tuesday morning. Northern Valleys will get rain, but it could mix with snow on Tuesday morning. Most precipitation will taper off tomorrow afternoon.

It will get a lot colder behind the storm, but high pressure building in by Wednesday will bring warmer, dry weather of the second half of the week.
