Poor air quality, cold temps remain

Posted
and last updated

The start of the week will continue to bring cold temperatures to Utah, along with poor air quality due to inversion.

On Monday, conditions will be sunny and hazy, with more of the same heading into Tuesday, although the air quality will get even worse. Drive less and try not to idle the car!

It'll be cloudy and cold tomorrow, but temperatures will climb a little higher ahead of a storm on Wednesday. Snow will become likely in the mountains and valleys of northern Utah, but taper off late Wednesday night.

Another weaker storm will bring a chance of more snow Friday, but the state will likely stay dry over Christmas weekend.
