Inversion continues; Better air quality later this week

Posted
and last updated

High pressure will keep it dry today and tomorrow, and allow valley inversions to strengthen across Northern and Western Utah. A more active weather pattern will develop later this week. A storm moving in Thursday will help to break up the inversion and bring better air quality. The storm is expected to bring rain to the valleys Thursday, but will likely change to snow showers on Friday and Christmas Day.
