INVERSION INVADES!

A weekend of haze and bad air will continue to be a factor to start off the work week.  There is an approaching storm that will bring a chance for some valley rain and mountain snow on Monday.  This will mainly impact northern and central Utah.  This storm should have enough punch to clean the air for a day or two.   High pressure builds back in by the middle of the week bringing concerns of a stronger inversion and diminishing air quality.   Right now the computer models are showing a Christmas storm.  We’ll keep you update on that prospect.

Salt Lake  City:

Sunday:  Becoming partly cloudy and hazy.  Highs:  Low 40s.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear with patchy fog.  Lows:  Near 30.

Monday:  Increasing clouds with afternoon rain.  Highs: Near 40

St. George

Sunday:  Sunny and nice.  Highs:  Near 60.

Sunday Night:  Mostly clear.  Lows: Low 30s.

Monday:  Partly sunny, slight chance for rain: Highs: Upper 50s
