With monsoonal moisture in place, showers and thunderstorms will be widespread today, especially along the spine of the mountains and across the Eastern Valleys.  Heavy rain, gusty winds, and lightning are most likely in these areas.  Flash flooding will also be a concern across Central and Southern Utah.  Dry air will move in on Thursday and limit storm development.  It looks like it’ll be warm and dry by the weekend.
