A major winter storm is expected to impact central and southern Utah Monday into Tuesday.

Several Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories have been issued for that region from the National Weather Service. They start as early as 5 a.m. Monday and continue through Tuesday at 2 p.m. for some areas.

Snow levels will drop to the valleys, even for the Dixie area. Snow accumulations for the valleys are expected to be in the 1-5 inch range with local higher amounts.

The mountains could see anywhere from 1-2 feet of snow.

Traveling along I-15 from Fillmore to St. George will be treacherous. I-70 from the I-15 interchange to Green River will also be impacted.
