Another mild autumn day before a storm settles in later this week!
Temperatures will climb several degrees above average. There's a slight chance isolated showers & t-storms could pop up today, mainly along and over the mountains.
As deeper moisture moves in from the south, rain will become widespread across much of Southern Utah tomorrow and across the rest of the area by Thursday. With heavy rain possible, especially in the south, the threat of flash flooding will be on the rise. Strong to severe storms with gusty winds and hail will also be possible.
As colder air spills in Friday, temps will drop as much as 20 degrees lower than this afternoon! Mountain snow is expected across Northern Utah, with 3-6" possible mainly above 9000 feet. The highest peaks could get a little more.
It'll dry out this weekend and slowly warm up heading into early next week.
