Why Juan Diego Catholic High School was so prepared for school during a pandemic

When the pandemic hit in March, and schools had to quickly change to an online format, Juan Diego Catholic Schools were prepared!

Dr. Galey Colosimo, Principal and Juan Diego Catholic High School, says even before COVID-19, they had made adjustments to a blended online learning program through a partnership with Arizona State University. So it was simple to make them all online classes.

Now, Juan Diego Catholic Schools are returning to education safely with both in-person and online options starting Monday, August 17.

Dr. Colosimo says Juan Diego Catholic High School is the most decorated high school in Utah right now. In November, the school was named a 'Blue Ribbon' school, the first high school in the state in 20 years to earn that title. In February, the Washington Post named Juan Diego as the most challenging school in the state and in the top two percent in the United States. Juan Diego has also been named the 'Best Private School in Utah' as well as the 'Best Educational Institution' in the state of Utah.
