Ingredients
1-2 lbs. chicken tenders, tendon removed
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
¼ c. flour
6 tbsp. butter, divided
1 tbsp. garlic, minced
3 tbsp. rice or cider vinegar
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 c. honey
Honey for drizzling
Directions
1. Season the chicken tenders with the salt, pepper and garlic powder. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and 3 tbsp. of the butter to the pan. Dredge the tenders into the flour and then place in the pan to brown 2-3 minutes per side. Remove them from the pan as they brown and set aside.
2. Put the remaining butter in the same pan and add the garlic to cook for a minute or so. Add the soy sauce, vinegar and honey and bring to a simmer. Return the chicken to the pan and coat them with the sauce. Return to a simmer and cook 3-4 more minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 160 or so. Serve the chicken over rice covered with a little more sauce. Enjoy!
