If you're one of the lucky ones, you have a ticket on the Pumpkin Train!

It's an annual 40 minute train ride on the Heber Valley Railroad where you're entertained on board by costumed characters all while you snack on a delicious pumpkin cookie. You also get to select a pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch and take it home with you.

The rides sell out fast, so you'll want to mark your calendar for next year.

But right now is the time to think ahead to the holidays where you can take a train ride to the North Pole.

Heber Valley Railroad's 90 minute round trip to the North Pole includes hot cocoa and Mrs. Claus' famous chocolate chip cookies. You'll sing along to new and traditional Christmas favorites on the way and be entertained by elves and cocoa chefs. When you reach the North Pole Santa will hop on board for the return trip and greet each child and present them with a special gift.

The adults on the trip will enjoy learning about the history of the train, which includes the 1913 President's Car that has three bedrooms, a full kitchen and a dining room. In fact President Harry S. Truman rode the train in that very car. And you can rent the car during the North Pole Express, it holds up to 20 people.

The North Pole Express sells out every year, and this year it's already 30 percent sold out. So get your tickets now at hebervalleyrr.org.
