Enough people are now using essentials oils that there is a day to celebrate it: July 11th is International Essential Oils Day.

Young Living is donating 5% of global sales on July 11 to the D. Gary Young Global Leadership Fund for Higher Education. This fund helps provide university or trade school scholarships to deserving students at the Young Living Academy in Ecuador, as well as students and young leaders who are supported by any of the Young Living Foundation partners around the world.
While essential oils have been used since ancient times, it's only in the past 25 years or so that people have really started using them. 80 percent of Americans know someone who has used essential oils, and almost 70 percent have used oils themselves in the past year.
