The Eight Annual Jewelry Luncheon to support The Children's Center is going virtual this year.

The Children's Center is a Utah-based nonprofit that offers mental health services to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and their families.

The annual Jewelry Luncheon is a community event that was founded by Helen Cardon in 2013. When her mother passed away in 1992, she left a cache of fabulous jewelry that she wanted to put to good use. The luncheon auctions off a collection of jewelry donated to the center throughout the year from generous community members.

The event has grown to include thousands of pieces of donated jewelry and has raised more than $500,000 for The Children's Center.

That helps the center provide services to approximately 2,000 families every year, regardless of financial ability.

This year's fundraising goal is $100,000.

It will be held virtually on March 4, 2021 from 12 to 1 p.m.
