SALT LAKE CITY — The University of Utah's next football game has been delayed by a day.
The Utes were scheduled to play against the Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday, Nov. 29, but the matchup has been bumped to Sunday the 29th. The time has yet to be determined.
A reason for the schedule change was not given, although the novel coronavirus has been the culprit in canceled games already this season.
The Utes had their first two games of the season canceled due to COVID-19 cases among players either on their own team or their opponents, University of Arizona and UCLA, respectively. The second was initially delayed by a day before being canceled outright.
Utah lost its delayed season opener Saturday against the University of Southern California (USC), 17-33.
