PROVO, Utah — BYU's football team will play the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers this Saturday, Dec. 5.
The athletics department tweeted about the game early Thursday morning.
BYU and Coastal Carolina have announced a game on Dec. 5, 2020, at Brooks Stadium in Conway, South Carolina.

ESPN’s College Gameday will be on site for the matchup, and the game will be broadcast at 5:30pm EST on ESPNU.

Kickoff will be at 3:30 p.m. MST at Brooks Stadium in Conway, South Carolina.

ESPN’s College Gameday will be on site for the matchup, and the game will be broadcast on ESPNU.
The game became possible after the Coastal Carolina match up with Liberty was cancelled.
The Cougars are unbeaten at 9-0 and ranked 8th in the nation. Coastal Carolina is also undefeated at 9-0 and ranked 14th.
The hope is a BYU win will boost its standings in College Football Playoff Rankings. BYU is disappointed in its 13th spot in the CFP.
