SANDY, Utah — A Real Salt Lake Player is in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19, the team announced Friday afternoon.
"All other first team players and staff have returned consecutive negative tests. In accordance with CDC guidelines, the player will continue to self-isolate until medically cleared under the close supervision of the club’s medical staff," a news release from RSL said.
Real Salt Lake's home game against Sporting Kansas City is still scheduled for Sunday at 4:30 p.m., and team members will continue to be closely monitored throughout the weekend.
