WASHINGTON — Wednesday's scheduled Utah Jazz game in Washington has been postponed due to the NBAs COVID-19 protocols.
Because the Wizards do not have the required eight players to play, the league made the decision to postpone the game.
Utah's game vs. Cleveland Tuesday is still scheduled to be played.
Washington's Rai Hachimura and Moritz Wagner are both in the NBAs COVID-19 protocols. The team is also without star Russell Westbrook and Thomas Bryant due to injuries.

The game is first of the season for Utah to be postponed, but the fourth of the week for the NBA.
On Tuesday, the league announced it would tighten coronavirus protocols due to the number of positive tests among players, leaving some rosters to thin to play games.
