SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — Dave Peck led the Bingham High School football program for a decade and a half, earning 10 region championships and five state titles during that time, before retiring five years ago.
Over the last five years, Peck has been working with his nephew at North Sanpete High School, while John Lambourne and the Bingham Miners continued to be the winning program that Peck left behind, winning two state titles.
After some time away, Peck has decided to return to the Bingham sideline, where he says it almost feels like he's never left.
He didn't expect to be welcomed back with a global pandemic, and COVID-19 is something all high school football teams have to take day by day, but Peck says his team will be ready for whatever comes their way.
