PROVO, Utah — BYU basketball's conference opener Thursday against Pepperdine has been postponed.
A positive COVID-19 test within the Pepperdine program forced the move.
The 9-2 Cougars were set to face the Waves in the WCC opening game for both schools. Pepperdine was also forced to postpone its following game against Saint Mary's scheduled for Saturday.
There is no word on when the game will be rescheduled.
BYUs next game will be on the road Saturday at San Diego.
