The Rebound: Volunteers needed as pandemic continues

SALT LAKE CITY — Volunteers are the lifeblood of Volunteers of America.

The organization serves vulnerable individuals and populations who struggle with homelessness, addiction, and mental illness through a variety of programs.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, volunteering has become more complicated than it once was. New policies ensure volunteer groups are safe and supported in maintaining proper social distancing guidelines.

Right now, help providing meals at the Youth Resource Center, Center for Women and Children, and the Geraldine E. King Women’s Resource Center are the biggest needs.
