SALT LAKE CITY — The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted many people to adopt pets as they seek companionship while in isolation.
As more and more people bring home pets, the need for veterinary care increase. MedVet, a new animal hospital in Salt Lake City, is now hiring for a variety of positions, from entry-level to skilled workers, for their ER and nursing teams.
"A lot of the animal shelters cleared out, so a lot of people were adopting pets. With that comes your doctor care, your groomers and all that, as well as emergency medicine," said Michele Bezduch, MedVet Northern Utah Hospital Director.
