TAYLORSVILLE, Utah — Synergy Staffing in Taylorsville is ready to help Utahns get back to work.
It currently has 115 positions available in a variety of industries.
Pay ranges anywhere from 11 to 25 dollars an hour, according to Synergy co-owner Megan Arnovick.
Her agency also offers health benefits and weekly pay.
In spite of those opportunities and perks, and the record numbers of unemployed people in Utah, Synergy has seen a slump in the number of available workers.
The Utah Division of Workforce Services suspects many unemployed people are waiting to look for work, and in turn receiving the extra $600 per week in federal benefits that come by way of the C.A.R.E.S. Act.
Those benefits are set to expire at the end of July.
Unemployed people who seeking new employment before those benefits expire will likely find more open positions and less competition in the hiring process.
