SALT LAKE CITY — A surprise "drive by" parade was staged in Salt Lake City Sunday to honor Intermountain Healthcare nurse, Haley Jangard.

The parade was posted on the Facebook page of her fiance, Eric Linett.

Jangard was one of 100 employees sent to New York City from Intermountain Healthcare to assist healthcare workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 hotspot.

Jangard volunteered at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

She described her work at New York Presbyterian Hospital as like "being in a war zone."
