BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah — A new wildfire was sparked Saturday night in Box Elder County.
It was initially called the Chokecherry Fire, then later renamed to the Owen Canyon Fire.
The fire is burning south of Messix Peak near Promontory. It was estimated at 20 acres as of Sunday morning.
By Sunday night, it was 100% contained.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
