GARLAND, Utah — Evacuation orders for a human-caused fire near Garland have been lifted.
The Harley Fire is burning north of Tremonton and west of Garland along I-15. The highway was originally closed to all traffic at 1000 North on Friday, but all lanes have since reopened.
Residents on Harley Drive were ordered to evacuate. On Saturday afternoon, the evacuation order was lifted and residents were allowed to return home.
In all, 10 homes were evacuated.
The fire is now 100 percent contained at 199 acres.
Utah Fire Info said Friday that critical infrastructure, including power lines, roadways and water systems, were threatened by the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The fire is the third to spark in Box Elder County in 24 hours. The Little Mountain Fire burned up to 600 acres on Thursday, with crews getting a quick handle on its containment, while the Salt Wells Fire started early Friday and has burned 585 acres.
