SOUTH WEBER, Utah — A wildfire has burned an estimated 134 acres at the mouth of Weber Canyon. Interstate 84 has since reopened. Crews will work overnight to contain the fire.

Broad Fire is estimated to have burned 135 acres as of 3:24 p.m. near the mouth of Weber Canyon just south of Interstate 84 near mile marker 89.

Traffic remains reduced to one lane in both directions. Officials note that the fire remains active on the north side, burning slowly through the underbrush and trees.

They also advise that the public use caution when traveling through the mouth of the canyon, already noting "several close calls" as drivers are too distracted to properly slow down.

This is a developing story.
