SALT LAKE CITY — It appears that 2021 isn't getting off to the start everyone wanted.
As the majority of people returned to work Monday following the holidays, they quickly learned their main way of communicating with colleagues during the pandemic is down.
Slack, the chat app used by millions of employees working at home and in the office, is not operating properly.
"Customers may experience issues connecting to Slack to loading channels at this time. Our team is on the case and we will keep you posted. Apologies for any disruption." the company tweeted out Monday.
Those attempting to use the Slack platform instead received the message below:
As of 9 a.m. MST, Slack was still not operating, leaving many companies, including FOX 13, to use (gasp!) email to communicate.
