MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. — A motorboat slammed into multiple Florida docks Friday after three people taking part in a photo shoot on the boat were dumped overboard.
Video from a Martin County Sheriff's Office helicopter showed the 24-foot boat crashing into two docks in the St. Lucie River at a high rate of speed. The boat went airborne after smashing the first dock before hitting the second and settling on the beach.
The three men on-board told authorities they were were forced to dive underwater after being thrown off the boat when it circled back towards them.
The men were able to swim to a nearby sailboat. One of the men suffered minor injuries; nobody else was injured.
