TAUNTON, Mass. — Like most people on their 21st birthday, Matt Goodman enjoyed his first beer to celebrate the momentous occasion.
But what made Matt's first beer so special was that he used a $10 bill his late father had left him for this specific moment.
Matt's father died of cancer when he was 15-years-old, but before he passed away, his dad gave his sister a $10 bill to hold onto until Goodman reached the legal drinking age so he could technically buy him his first beer.
That's exactly what happened last weekend.
Goodman shared photos on social media of him enjoying a Bud Light with his father's $10 bill.
"Cheers pops havin this one for you!" wrote Goodman.

Budweiser noticed Goodman's big day and made it even more special, saying that his dad got his first beer, but they'll have his next. Tuesday, Matt shared another photo of him and his sister kneeling next to the multiple cases of Budweiser the company sent the family.
Matt told WFXT that many people have reached out in hopes of also buying him a beer, but he says he'd like to have the money donated to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute instead.
