OGDEN, Utah — A woman suffered only minor injuries after her vehicle slid off the roadway and traveled another 200 yards down an embankment at the North Ogden Divide Wednesday night.
It happened around 9:30 about a mile from the mouth of North Ogden Canyon.
"By the time we got there, deputies had made contact with her from the top and she was ambulatory and able to walk down to the UTV," said Deputy Fire Chief Jeremiah Jones, North View Fire District. "And then, we were able to bring her down here to the staging area and get her transported to the hospital."
The woman told investigators she didn't remember the crash. Deputies believe the woman's use of a seat belt prevented serious injuries, and they're looking into the cause of the crash.
