WOODS CROSS, Utah — A woman was flown to the hospital in critical condition Thursday after her arm was severed in an industrial accident.
Medical personnel responded to the accident just after 1 p.m. at 1959 S. 1100 W. in Woods Cross.
The 48-year-old woman's right arm was caught in the machinery when her jacket became entangled. Her arm was severed above the elbow, according to Woods Cross police.
The woman was flown to the hospital via helicopter in critical but stable condition.
