SALT LAKE CITY — A woman, man and two children were involved in a rollover accident on I-15 in Salt Lake City on Wednesday.
Officials say the female driver died after being ejected through the sunroof of the SUV and fell 30 feet from the raised ramp. The man and children, who were both in car seats, suffered minor injuries in the accident.
The woman was driving a Mercedes-Benz northbound on I-15 when she went off the road as she tried to access westbound I-80. While the car remained on the highway, the woman was ejected off the road
The 500 S. on-ramp to I-80 remained closed while the accident remains under investigation.
