UTAH COUNTY -- A wildfire that started Sunday afternoon near Santaquin was almost fully contained by the end of the night.

The "Goshen Fire" is burning southwest of the city and was estimated at 150 acres. Fire crews reached 90 percent containment as of 10 p.m.

State wildfire officials initially said homes in the Summit Springs area were under an evacuation order, but local agencies, including the Utah County Sheriff's Office and Santaquin Fire Department later said no such orders were given.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but authorities do believe it was human-caused.

Crews in Utah County are also fighting the 4,332-acre "William Fire" southeast of Santaquin (55 percent contained), the 849-acre "Ether Hollow Fire" near Springville and Mapleton (65 percent contained), and the 200-acre "Battle Creek 2 Fire" above Pleasant Grove (0 percent contained).
