HUNTSVILLE, Utah — The Weber County Attorney's Office released video Tuesday of an officer-involved shooting that left a burglary suspect dead.
Police were dispatched to a Huntsville neighborhood on Oct. 23 after getting a report of a man attempting to break into a trailer.

When police arrived, the suspect, later identified as Cody Hadley, was found hiding near the trailer.
After deputies commanded Hadley to come out with his hands up, he instead charged at the officers with a gun pointed directly at them. The deputies responded with gunfire, dropping Hadley to the ground.
Despite medical aid being rendered on the scene, Hadley died as a result of his injuries.
As part of its investigation, the Attorney's Office Force Investigation Team provided video of the incident to provide residents "with all of the information we have at this time to help you better understand what happened."
Since the investigation is ongoing, the office said it will not draw any conclusions on whether the officers acted appropriately until it is complete.
