WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — Wasatch County had its first search-and-rescue mission of 2021 on just the second day of the new year.

The county's SAR team was called out to a snowmobile accident in the Big Glad area of Daniels Summit around 1:40 p.m.

A man, who they said was about 50 years old, "had a mishap" while riding a snowmobile. No further details were given, other than that he had to be extricated by a medical helicopter. U of U AirMed (University of Utah Health) and Wasatch County Fire & EMS assisted.
