SALT LAKE CITY — It's never too cold in Utah to enjoy an evening in an igloo while keeping socially-distanced in the process.

Wasatch Brewery is bringing igloos to its Sugar House and Park City restaurants to give guests a private dining experience, while also keeping everyone safe during the pandemic.

The igloos hold up to eight people and offer heating inside.

Many restaurants have come up with creative ways to keep their diners warm and healthy during the pandemic. Ruth's Diner put up greenhouses on its back patio for people to enjoy during the winter.

If the igloos prove to be popular, they may stay even after the COVID-19 threat is gone.

“We’re very excited about this new outdoor dining experience,” says Maxwell Christen, Senior Marketing Manager. “We hope that our igloo dining will become a tradition for families who visit us this holiday season and into the winter months!”
