MOAB, Utah — If you've always dreamed of a job where you can lay back and look at the stars all night, here's your chance.
The Dark Skies Working Group, an organization in Grand County and Moab City, is looking for volunteers to help monitor the night sky so the area can be certified as an International Dark Sky Community.
Volunteers are asked to attend a brief training session on either Oct. 7 or Oct. 8 where they will learn "how to measure the brightness of the sky and be assigned a specific site to monitor about once a month."
The training sessions will be held at Center Street Ballpark.
Anyone interested should email the group at planning@grandcountyutah.net
