SALT LAKE CITY — The grounds crew at the University of Utah has honored the late Ty Jordan by painting the running back's number outside the school's football facility.
Jordan died Christmas night after he was accidentally shot in the abdomen while home in Texas.

After playing just five games for the Utes, Jordan was named the Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year with 597 yard rushing and six touchdowns.
