LAYTON, Utah — Layton Police arrested a woman Wednesday in connection with a child pornography investigation.

According to a probable cause statement, 28-year-old Mariah Butler faces 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Butler is accused of possessing "numerous videos and images of child rape, described as prepubescent age children including infants and toddlers, who were being sexually abused by adults and other children," the statement said.

Police said Butler admitted to viewing and downloading child pornography.
