SALT LAKE CITY — Utah's Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health is partnering with the University of Utah and the University of North Dakota to survey people about stigmas surrounding mental health.
The study seeks to identify perceptions people have of mental health and stigmas surrounding mental illnesses. The Utah Department of Human Services, which oversees the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health, said the survey results will help guide educational and training efforts, programs and work with treatment providers.
