SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah National Guard is paying tribute to the service members who assisted the nation on September 11, 2001, "when the nation needed them more than ever."
UNG shared a few pictures of guard and Army members who went to New York and Washington D.C. following the 9/11 attacks on Facebook.
"From airport security, to rescue missions at ground zero, patrolling the skies over our nations capital and securing our borders, the Army and Air National Guard responded with grace and heroism," the Facebook post said.
