ROSEBUD, Ark. — A Utah missionary was killed and two others from Utah were injured Thursday evening in a crash near Rosebud, Arkansas.
On Friday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints identified the deceased as 19-year-old Jake Smith of Lehi.
According to a statement from the Latter-day Saint church, McKay Jurges of West Jordan suffered serious injuries and is hospitalized.
Gavin Hatch of Cedar Hills, Utah and Eli Sutherland of San Diego, California suffered minor injuries, the statement says.
Further details on the crash were not immediately available.
