SALT LAKE CITY — A Utah man who works with youth has been arrested and charged with possessing child pornography.
Charging documents state that investigators traced photographs of nude adolescent boys posted on a Twitter account to IP addresses connected to 28-year-old Tyler Neal Domgaard in late 2019.
Special agents with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force went to his place of employment in May of this year, but no one answered the door. Domgaard later called them after finding a card they left.
Domgaard admitted that he downloaded the images — which depicted boys between 11-13 years of age fully nude — and posted them on his Twitter account, according to a probable cause statement for his arrest.
A warrant was issued for his arrest on Aug. 24 and he was arrested a few days later on $150,000 bail.
He has been charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a 2nd-degree felony.
Court documents state that Domgaard works at "a mental health therapy provider which treats juveniles." It did not specify the name of the provider, but a post on "Latter-day Gay Stories" claiming to be written by him says he works with LGBTQ youth at the John Williams Encircle House in Salt Lake City. He is not listed on Encircle's website.
