SALT LAKE CITY — The man who was captured on video pointing a bow-and-arrow at protesters in May was sentenced Monday in court.
Brandon McCormick, 58, will spend one year in jail, be fined $5,000, and be on probation for 10 years with strict conditions.
If he breaks those conditions, he'll serve the full 10 years in prison.
At his sentencing hearing, he attributed his actions to a relapse in drinking.
"That wasn't me — that's not me. I was just really going through it," he said.
