SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Highway Patrol is doing a "move over blitz" Friday.

UHP Crew E will conduct the blitz in Salt Lake City.

It's to remind drivers to move over one lane when they approach an emergency vehicle, tow truck, UDOT worker, or anyone on the side of the road. The shoulder is not a safe place for anyone, the UHP's Facebook post said.

To make the point even stronger, some children of UHP troopers posed for photos asking that their parents get home safely after every shift.
