SALT LAKE CITY — Similar to other districts in Utah, Uintah School District has launched a COVID-19 dashboard that allows parents and students to see the number of positive cases within individual schools.

The dashboard will be updated on Mondays with information from TriCounty Health Department.

In order to protect the privacy of students and teachers, grade and class specific information will not be released.

Three confirmed cases in a classroom withing 14 days is considered a classroom outbreak and 15 cases school-wide within two weeks is considered a school outbreak.

The school district made two options available for student learning in the midst of COVID-19. Students either enrolled in a "blended learning" model with both in-person and online instruction or they chose to go fully online with the "Uintah Online School" program.
