SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah — A Utah Highway Patrol trooper was injured Monday after his vehicle was hit by a truck on I-80.
Officials say the trooper was not seriously injured in the accident and is only suffering from neck pain.
A truck hauling snowmobiles on westbound I-80 hit the trooper near mile marker 131 in Parleys Canyon.
Snow falling in the area has made for dangerous driving conditions. UHP told FOX 13 there were 30 crashes statewide on Utah's highways during the brief storm.
